Lamar Jackson, along with the four offensive linemen who started his first season at center, played all 56 snaps in his return. Ronnie Stanley, who was leading the Ravens by a comfortable margin late in the 4th quarter, was replaced as a precaution by Joseph Noteboom. All of the front-line starters remained in the match.
Derrick Henry had the most snaps in the backfield with 36 (64%), followed by Justice Hill (11 snaps) and Keaton Mitchel (10 snaps). Mitchell’s role has increased while Hill’s has decreased over the last two games. This trend may continue. Pat Ricard’s snap count increased in his second match of the season, from 14 to 21.
Zay Flowers (46 snaps), and Rashod Batteman (40 snaps) were the two stars of the show at wide receiver. Flowers was the top team performer with five catches for 64 yards. Deandre Hopkins only played 18 snaps, but only saw one target. Tylan Wallace, LaJohntay, and LaJohntay, combined, took 11 snaps.
The tight end trio had a great night. Isaiah Likely surpassed Mark Andrews in snaps (33 to 28, versus 28) and played his best game this season, with three catches totaling 60 yards. Andrews scored two touchdowns during the first half. Charlie Kolar, meanwhile, also reached the end zone. Kolar played a total of 26 snaps.
The Ravens’ newly-designed safety trio has played together nearly the entire game for the third consecutive week. Kyle Hamilton, Malaki Starks and Alohi Gillman each had a 100% snap-share. All three players had a positive impact on the game. Gilman forced the fumble during the first quarter, and Starks made his first career interception at the end of the quarter.
Nate Wiggins and Marl Humphrey dominated as outside corners. Chidobe awuzie played a mere 22 snaps. Roquan played 100 percent of snaps in the middle for his second game since returning from injury. Teddye Buchanan was involved in both of the Ravens forced fumbles on the night. He played 44 snaps.
Mike Green, who is now a regular starter after Odafe Oweh & Tavius Robinson were ruled out of the equation, led a very thin group of edge rushers in snaps for a second consecutive week (46 snaps). Kyle Van Noy (39 snaps) and David Ojabo (35) were just behind him.
Taven Bryan was activated from the Ravens’ practice squad. He played 26 snaps (41%) and took a major role in front. This was the third highest number of snaps among defensive linemen behind Travis Jones’ (42 snaps), and John Jenkins’ (30 snaps). Brent Urban, C.J. Okoye rounded out the group, with 30 combined snaps.
