Ravens playoff picture – What the Patriots game in Week 16 means for AFC standings

The Baltimore Ravens are no longer in control of their destiny within the AFC North. After their Sunday night loss to the New England Patriots, they will need help to reach the postseason. The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

The Ravens are already out of the race for the wildcard, so their future is dim.

The worst that the Steelers can do this year is 9-8. Baltimore can only manage 9-8 with their eighth loss. If Pittsburgh loses to the Browns, the Ravens win the tiebreaker. But Baltimore must beat the Green Bay Packers.
