Ravens legends Terrell suggs and Marshall Yanda are among the Hall of Fame finalists

The Ravens have moved closer to having both franchise legends inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Terrell Suggs, Marshall Yanda and the Class of 2026 were announced on Tuesday as finalists. This puts them at the door of a permanent place in Canton.

Suggs, as well as Yanda, reached this stage in the past year. They must now receive 80% of votes from the Hall of Fame Selection Committee to be considered for the final position. The results will be revealed at the NFL Honors Ceremony in February.

It is ironic that Suggs, Yanda and the other right guard, who are among the franchise’s best edge rushing, have been given such recognition at a time when these positions represent the biggest holes on the roster. Suggs and Yanda are likely to be the two players that fans would most want to bring out of retirement in order to strengthen the current team.

For the remainder of the season, the Ravens must make due with Daniel Faalele as well as their current group of edge rushers.

More information will be added to this story.
