Webb (30) has been Denver Broncos quarterbacks coach for the past three seasons. This year, he added pass game coordinator as a new title. He has been a key player in Bo Nix’s development and has created a positive culture within the quarterback room. Sam Ehlinger , a third-stringer with the Colts, declined an offer from them to play on their 53-man roster after Daniel Jones was injured. This was partly because he wanted to remain in Denver and be around Webb.
“We are really happy and proud of the organization and the progress we have made. Ehlinger stated at the time, “I want to be a part of that.” In Indianapolis, he could have earned more money on the active roster. He chose to stay on the Broncos practice squad. This speaks volumes about Webb.
Webb is still a long shot to be Baltimore’s new head coach. Webb would be the NFL’s youngest head coach and second-youngest all-time. He trails Sean McVay only by two days. This would be a big gamble for the Ravens, who are looking for a coach to keep them competitive in 2026.
