Lamar Jackson returns to practice before facing the Steelers

Todd Monken, the offensive coordinator for the Steelers, said on Thursday that Jackson would play.

Jackson, who hasn’t been able to practice for a week due to injuries to his knees, ankles, and toes, hopes to be sharper when the Steelers come to town after he made three mistakes in the Ravens’ Thanksgiving loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Ravens, Steelers and Bengals are all tied at 6-6 in the AFC North, with five weeks left to play.

The Ravens’ offense has been slow in recent weeks, and Jackson hasn’t thrown any touchdown passes in the last three matches. The Steelers’ defense, which is ranked 28 thin the league, may give Jackson and the Ravens a second chance to improve their offensive performance.

Ronnie Stanley, the Ravens’ left tackle, was also absent from Friday’s session. He’s been enjoying some days off over the past few weeks.

Travis Jones, the defensive tackle who missed practice on Thursday due to personal issues, returned one day later.
