Keaton Mitchell and Jaire Alexander are healthy scratches for Ravens-Lions game

The Baltimore Ravens announced their inactives with less than 90 minutes to go before the start of their Week 3 game against the Detroit Lions.

Cornerback Jaire Alexander has been ruled out of the game for the second week in a row. Alexander struggled to perform in Week 1, after a summer of insufficient practice. John Harbaugh, the Ravens’ head coach, has said that they will manage his playing time but expect his role to grow in the future.

Keaton Mitchel and offensive tackle Carson Vinson are also on the list. Mitchell, who was inactive for the first game of the season as a surprise, has been scratched three weeks in a row. Rasheen Ali is now the No. The No. 3 running back is also a key member of the special teams.

Likely was expected to make his debut for the Ravens tonight. Instead, they will hold him back at least another week. Ricard has also yet to make his season debut due to a calf problem that has kept him out of the game for more than a month.

Van Noy, and Madubuike were two of the biggest additions to this week’s injury list. Both players will miss several games. This is a major blow for the Ravens defensive front and pass-rush. The Ravens promoted edge rusher David Ojabo from the inactive roster and activated veteran defensive-lineman Brent Urban.
