Dre’Mont Robinson and Tavius Jones Lead Ravens’ Increased Pressure

The Ravens pass rush increased the pressure on Sunday. Baltimore’s pressure rate was 31.8% despite blitzing only three times (6.8% snaps). Jones played his best purple game to date and earned the third highest Pro Football Focus (PFF), or grade, for the defense.

According to Next Gen Stats’ data, Jones had generated 14 pass rushes and 140 pressures since joining the Ravens after the trade deadline. This is the same as all Ravens defensive backs during that time period.

Jones explained that he was able to rush the passer because he could rush himself. “I worked my tail off this week because I was not happy with how I performed last time [against Bengals].
