Opening statement: I just want to thank the men who worked in the locker room. Steelers vs. Ravens is a classic matchup. We had many players go down, but it was part of the game. Darnell Washington suffered a concussion. Malik Harrison suffered a concussion. [Andrus] Peat suffered a concussion. [Keeanu] Benton was injured, but he returned to the game. We had a few other [evaluations]. They were able, I believe, to go back. But it is a good indication of the way this game is played. I appreciate your efforts. “Big win for us in hostile environment. We’ll continue to move forward.”
Setting the tone for downfield passes. “I believe we had an aggressive attitude all day.” It’s just how I got up this morning. It’s a requirement when you play these guys at their venue.”
What from the Ravens’ defense made it possible for the Ravens to pass downfield: I just thought that was the way we had to play. We had to be aggressive. We’ve been here a lot. In this environment we are very familiar with the people.
CB Joey Porter Jr. defending TE Isaiah Likely in the non-touchdown: I’m appreciative of their effort. It’s a great example of how football should be played. And you can be an excellent example.
If he had an initial opinion that Likely scored a touchdown, he would have said: I did not. It’s true that sometimes, in order to be sure they get it right and make it look good, they will signal it as a touchdown. “But no, I didn’t believe it was a touchdown.”
