What the Patriots said after Defeating Ravens

Head Coach Mike Vrabel

How it felt to get into the playoffs after a win such as this: I think it was great to be in a battle like this, where we fought, it was tied and we were down, but the momentum shifted, then our players fought back. We made stops. The offense continued to attack. Our quarterback battled. Both our runners and receivers delivered. I thought it was a great team win. It’s an incredible team win.”

After being in the exact same position as the previous week , on the winning touchdown drive said: “I believe that you can learn from it and you have more opportunities.” We were under pressure, but we managed to make a play despite the pressure. If you can learn from these things and hopefully we did, then I believe that you will be able to improve your ability to perform in critical situations. We talked all week about ball security and how we could hammer out a solution. I thought that we did try at times, and we were able to get a few. “I think we discussed being able get turnovers.”

On WR Stefon’s performance in tonight’s match: I understand the nature of receivers in the league. I understand. I’ve played in this league a long time, and everyone wants the ball. It’s their job. They have to know that when they don’t receive it, it will come. He made the most of his chances, converted third downs, and won contested catches. It was great to watch.”

Drake Maye: I just thought gritty. I mean he got hit. He was hit. He was pushed or they went home without him. He kept on getting up and fighting. He didn’t flinch. “I think that it was important to all of us, the whole team.”

When asked if they had changed their defense of the Ravens offense since losing Lamar Jackson , replied: “They’re talented.” They have still got good players. The offense hasn’t really changed. We tried to stop the offense. We lost guys, too. We lost a lot of guys, even though we didn’t lose the MVP. We know Lamar [Jackson]’s talent. They were still able to make some plays against us. Tyler [Huntley] deserves a lot more credit. He’s an amazing kid. I spent time with him when he was in Cleveland. “It was a challenge throughout the game.”
