What Alohi Gillman plans to bring Ravens in reunion with Kyle Hamilton

Gilman knows a lot about the Ravens. Not only from Hamilton, but also from Tony Jefferson, a former Ravens safety, who now plays for Chargers. Gilman’s smile grew when Jefferson’s name came up.

Gilman explained: “Since his time at the Chargers he has always been representing the Ravens. I used to berate him for this, but now I am here.” “I called him right before I boarded the plane. I have a lot of good memories with him and he is so respectful towards this organization. He was like, “Man, you’re going to love it.”

Gilman has not been through a major transition before, but this is his first time being traded. Gilman, a native of Hawaii began his college football career at the Naval Academy. He played there for a season before transferring Notre Dame.

“I’ve got a bit of a history with Maryland.” “I have a special place for Maryland, but I am happy to be here and start this thing off.”

Gilman and Ravens outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy were teammates for one season as Chargers. Van Noy believes Gilman will boost the Ravens defense.

Van Noy called him “a very good footballer”. “I am excited to have him come in and immediately be a leader, to get to work. I hope he is up on Sunday, because I believe he will be able help us.”
