Tyler Huntley Beats Bears Again

Roquan had already seen the story from another side.

Tyler Huntley, who was in Chicago in 2021 to replace a sick Lamar Jackson and rally the Ravens for a victory at Soldier Field, stepped in to help lead them to victory. Smith played linebacker for Bears at the time and recalls Huntley gaining his respect.

Huntley was called upon again by the Ravens four years later to help them end a losing streak of four games against a Bears team who had won four consecutive games.

Huntley was at his best once again in Sunday’s Ravens 30-16 win over the M&T Bank Stadium. It was arguably the most impressive performance of his six-year NFL career.

Huntley completed 17 of 22 passes for 186 passing yards and one touchdown. He ran eight times for a total of 53 yards. The Ravens were not just sparked by his performance. His confidence boosts his teammates as well.

Smith said, “[I] am a huge fan of that guy.” “The way that he shows up to work every day with his head down and acts like he is the starter.”

The Ravens were able to score on six out of eight drives, and they showed a more fluid offensive flow than in recent weeks. It was largely due to their efficient and effective play, which is a testament to how well he fits in Baltimore.

Huntley, who was on the Ravens practice squad the previous year, was signed by the Miami Dolphins. He started five games and posted a 2-3 record. It took him a long time to get another chance.

Huntley, who was a free-agent for most of the off-season, worked with a quarterback’s coach in Florida to get extra work done. Huntley, who was still working out at home to improve his skills as a quarterback after the teams had started their training camps, thought it would be great to play for the best team in the National Football League again. After a hard workout, Huntley thought “Man, it would be great to play again for the National Football League’s best team.”

Huntley then picked up the telephone and texted John Harbaugh to ask if they could speak.

He called me back right away. Huntley replied, “I didn’t anticipate a call so soon.” “He said, ‘Relationships are forever’. So, I just felt grateful. “I learned my worth and I feel more complete because I now know it.”
