Good news for the Ravens’ defensive front on Thursday, as starter nose tackle Travis Jones returned to practice after a knee injury.
Jones is an important part of Baltimore’s defensive front. The team is hoping to bounce back in Kansas City on Sunday after allowing 224 rushing yard to the Detroit Lions.
John Harbaugh, the Head Coach of the Baltimore Ravens, ruled out Nnamdi Madubuike on Wednesday because he was not able to practice with his fellow defensive tackle Broderick Washingon Jr.
Ronnie Stanley, the Ravens left tackle (ankle), is out of practice for a second consecutive day. If Stanley is unable to play, the Ravens will likely turn their attention to Joe Noteboom. He has started 35 games in his eight-year NFL career.
Patrick Ricard, the fullback (calf), is still out of action. Outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy, who has a hamstring injury, did work out in street clothes on a sidefield. This could be a sign that his return is not too far away.
Aeneas peebles and John Jenkins, both of whom have a history of injuries in the defensive line, will be expected to play a larger role against the Chiefs. Baltimore signed Josh Tupou, Taven Bryan and two other defensive tackles to its practice squad in the last week.
