Statistics Show Lamar Jackson is in Uncharted Passing Territory

The Browns were committed to stopping Baltimore’s Derrick Henry’s rushing attacks in Week 2. They held him to just 23 yards from 11 carries. Jackson, however, threw darts at Cleveland’s secondary. He connected with two touchdowns passes to Devontez Walker as well as one to each of DeAndre Hopkins or Tyre Wallace.

Jackson has grown since he entered the league. Jackson was efficient and electric (19 of 29 for 225 yards), as he avoided mistakes and maintained poise and patience in the pocket. In the first half of the game, Jackson was often in poor field positions, but he kept probing and Baltimore finally exploded.

John Harbaugh, the head coach of the team, said: “It was an extremely tough game against a great defense on Sunday.” “He kept pressing, he kept doing the checks that he needed to do.”

He saved us from trouble on a couple of occasions. Three of his biggest plays were when he turned a bad play, with the help from his teammates, into something great. Lamar is Lamar. That’s what makes him a great player. “It’s Lamar just being Lamar.”

Walker has scored touchdowns on all three career catches. The second-year wideout knows that Jackson can deliver the ball at any moment to any target.

Walker said, “Lamar knows what we’ve got in our offensive room and across the board.” Walker said, “We have many weapons all over the place and he wants everyone to be as successful as he is.” It’s the kind of person he is. “He makes you want go out and play hard to him.”
