At halftime, the Baltimore Ravens trailed by 7-3 to the New York Jets. Here are the most recent reactions from Baltimore Beatdown staff.
The Ravens offense has a bad . Lamar Jackson is out of sorts again and the Ravens’ running game cannot get going. Baltimore’s problems are typified by another botched red-zone sequence on their only decent drive in the first half. No matter how good could be, they refuse to change their ways and make every game a dogfight. This is ugly football. – Nikhil Mehta
The offense is not working. I don’t have any idea how to fix this. Behind this terrible offensive line, they can’t even run the ball for Lamar Jackson. Lamar Jackson himself looks broken. He looks injured, he hesitates to run and he misses some basic throws. He does not look like himself.
The defense is at least good. Travis Jones, Jordan Stout and Dre Jones should be extended. – Zach Canter
Lamar Jackson is the first to blame for the Ravens’ offense not looking right. He doesn’t seem like himself, whether it’s because of injuries or a lack of confidence in the offensive lines. The Ravens are unable to run the ball in the face of a poor Jets defense. It’s difficult to watch, but let’s hope they can pull together in the second. – Stephen Bopst
Ravens’ first-half performance was uninspiring again this week. Dre’Mont Jones, Mike Green and the rest of the Ravens have been impressive. Jordan Stout is still the best. Flowers’ involvement is the only positive offensive focus. It has to get better. This is the final week that the Ravens will be able to sleepwalk through the game and still win. – Mark Myers
