Roquan Smith had played so many excellent games during his time as a Raven, that when John Harbaugh asked which of the linebacker’s two Week 2 games against the Browns had been the best one, the head coach struggled to choose the best.
“I’ve seen many good ones.” Harbaugh stated that it was in this category. “But he is such a consistent athlete.” It’s hard to answer because he does so well almost every week.
According to Pro Football Focus’ (PFF’s) ratings, Smith’s game against Browns was rated as the second best of his eight-year-career.
The three-time Pro Bowler received a grade of 91.9 after recording a total of 15 tackles. This included three for loss and two quarterback hits. He also scored a touchdown 63 yards on a recovered fumble that sealed the Ravens 41-17 victory.
Smith was the first NFL player to record at least 15 tackles in a game, along with three tackles for losses and a defensive touchdown since 2008.
