CBS Sports Cody Benjamin stated that there are other factors working in favor of the Ravens.
Benjamin wrote: “After the early season gauntlet, the Ravens will finish the 2025 with the eighth-easiest calendar, according to ESPN. This schedule includes matchups against similarly struggling teams like the Miami Dolphins or New York Jets.” Five of the Ravens’ remaining 12 games will be AFC North matches, with three of those being against the Cleveland Browns or Cincinnati Bengals. Both teams are 3-7. The division is still up for grabs, if only the Ravens show up.
Benjamin said that the Steelers’ record might not be as impressive as they thought.
Benjamin wrote: “The Steelers are 3-1 in the North, but their wins have been by only 12 points combined, and this year they’ve even been outscored.” The Steelers are also a team with a 41-year-old quarterback. It’s reasonable to be concerned about the Steelers own set up.
ESPN Analytics’ numbers don’t seem to be as positive about the Ravens edging out the Steelers in the division.
