The Baltimore Ravens face significant challenges both on and off the field in Week 8 of 2025.
Injury concerns are the biggest concern after a 1-5 start.
Lamar Jackson is still on the sidelines, and losses in the defensive line have affected offensive rhythms.
The depth of the team has become an issue, especially after Nnamdi madubuike and Broderick Washingon Jr. were placed on injured reserve.
The coaching staff actively searches for solutions by roster adjustment.
According to KPRC2 Aaron Wilson, Baltimore tried out three players Tuesday. They were outside linebacker Efe Olajiga and defensive tackle David Olajiga.

The organization is rushing to improve depth and performance as the season advances.
C.J. Okoye, a Nigerian defensive tackle, was recently promoted by the Ravens. Okoye is now on the Ravens’ 53-man roster. This gives them flexibility to make other moves.
This decision allowed Baltimore the opportunity to sign Olajiga, without having to sacrifice another player from their practice squad.
Since its creation, the team has used International Player Pathway to develop talent in global markets.
After Tuesday’s practice, Baltimore has added Olajiga as a member of their practice squad.
The 27-year old Londoner entered the NFL via the International Player Pathway Program, which gives teams an additional 17th spot on their practice squad.
He was a member of the Rams practice squad in 2024 before joining the Patriots during the off-season.
Olajiga started the regular season with New England, but was released by the Patriots last week when they used their IPP slot for tight end Thomas Odukoya.
With his addition, the Ravens have a player with experience in international development.
Baltimore is hoping that the changes to its roster will give it the depth necessary to turn around a struggling season.
