Baltimore Ravens announced that they have released offensive lineman Ben Cleveland.
Cleveland had just completed a three game suspension for DUI and did not have the room to keep him in the 53-man squad. The Ravens will have to make room for him to be on the practice squad. They may have finished their relationship with Cleveland at this point. However, his experience in the new offense could keep him around.
Due to this move, Ravens won’t have to pay Cleveland the final $65,000 in game checks. The backup guard will be rookie guard Emery Jones.
