Ravens vs. Vikings Predictions

The Baltimore Ravens, who have won back-to-back games for the first time in this season will be looking to continue their winning streak this Sunday when they travel to Minnesota. Baltimore Beatdown’s crew makes bold predictions about the Week 10 matchup.

The Ravens ran for more than 200 yards against Vikings.

Baltimore used to run at least 150 yard every game. In 2025, however, the Ravens’ once dominant ground game has not been able to find its groove. Baltimore has not run for more than 200 yards since the Week 1 game against Buffalo Bills. While Minnesota and defensive coordinator Brian Flores should have some tricks up their sleeves, I expect Derrick Henry will spring a few surprises against an aggressive Vikings defense. – Stephen Bopst

Lamar Jackson will face Brian Flores, but this time it’s not a rematch from 2021, but a matchup that took place in 2019. Jackson throws over 300 yards against the blitz for the first time in the season, a great day for Zay Flowers and Rashod bateman. The three running backs are also involved in the game to help stop the blitz. Derrick Henry runs 75 yards for a touchdown. Justice Hill catches several passes. Keaton Mitchell pops the screen to score a long touchdown.

As the Ravens terrorize a quarterback who is essentially a novice, J.J. McCarthy, the defense continues to stack up days. Mike Green’s hot streak continues with yet another sack. Dre’Mont Jones gets another sack, and establishes himself quickly as the best Baltimore pass rusher. He applies multiple pressures both from the inside and the outside. Justin Jefferson is the first, but Nate Wiggins gets another, and Teddye Buchanan also gets his to make up for his two fumbles against the Miami Dolphins. Ravens win by 38-17. – Zach Canter

This game quickly turns into a defensive brawl. Brian Flores overwhelms Ravens offensive line, but not to the same extent as in the 2021 match against Miami Dolphins. This leads to frustration for Lamar Jackson, and the Ravens offense. Baltimore’s running attack gets into a rhythm, but struggles in situations where there are few yards to cover. Jackson is sacked several times, as the passing offense struggles to find a rhythm.

Baltimore’s improved defense is making life difficult for second-year quarterback J.J. McCarthy. Kyle Hamilton, in particular, continues to cause havoc at the line of scrimmage. Dre’Mont Jones is able to make his presence felt by securing a sack. However, the Ravens are still struggling to create consistent pressure even with extra players on blitzes. Baltimore’s winning streak is over after a 16-14 loss, causing a renewed outcry among the fans as the playoffs become in doubt. Dustin Cox

Brian Flores, the Vikings’ defensive coordinator, will dig deep into his arsenal of tricks to combine zero-blitzes and drop-eights to knock Lamar Jackson out of his game. The Ravens’ drives will stall early when Jackson holds on to the ball for too long. Todd Monken’s counter will be a combination designed QB runs, screens and other plays that can burn the defense a few times and reduce Flores aggressiveness. This will allow the Ravens’ running game to take over in the second quarter, with Keaton Mitchell and Derrick Henry exhausting the Vikings’ defense before they score a touchdown.

The Ravens’ defense will allow J.J. McCarthy to gain a lot more yardage in the middle of the field, allowing Vikings to have a few longer drives during the first half. McCarthy will be forced to move the ball further downfield if the Ravens are ahead in the second period. This will allow Baltimore some chances for big plays. Nate Wiggins is expected to shadow Justin Jefferson, with the All-Pro usually getting the upper hand. However, Wiggins can make some key plays down the stretch in order to stop the Vikings’ late drive and seal a Ravens win of 27-17. Nikhil Mehta
