Ravens vs. Browns Predictions

The Baltimore Ravens, who lost to the Buffalo Bills in the first game of the season on the road, will look to bounce back against the Cleveland Browns when they play their home opener.

Baltimore Beatdown’s staff makes bold predictions about Sunday’s AFC North matchup.

Derrick Henry reaches the end zone for a second time in a row after running for more than 150 yards. Henry’s long touchdown run was preceded by a stiff-arming of Browns’ safety Grant Delpit. Mike Green, a rookie, records his first career-long sack and Malaki Starks, a fellow rookie intercepts Joe Flacco to score a pick-6 touchdown. The Ravens are bouncing back from the epic collapse of last week and won’t repeat last year’s opening game at home. Last year, the Ravens still worked Henry into their first two games. Not anymore. Henry had another great game, just like last week. No fumbles. He ends with two touchdowns and 100+ yard, proving that he’s hard to tackle.

Mike Green’s first career sack ruined Joe Flacco’s homecoming for the Ravens. Kye Hamilton is back with another great game. He notches a sack and an interception. This starts the DPOY talk. Jaire Alexander has also made an interception. He is recovering from his poor play last week.

The Ravens won by double-digits and covered the spread. But more importantly, they stayed in control throughout the game. – Zach Canter

The Ravens avoided a disastrous start of 0-2 by thrashing the Browns on a Sunday. Derrick Henry continued to rumble along this week with 150+ rushing yardage, while Lamar Jackson continued his stellar start to season with another nearly-flawless air day. Rashod bateman, the wide receiver who was held back against the Bills and scored a touchdown with a long distance while surpassing 100 yards for the day, is now in the spotlight. Baltimore’s offense is unstoppable as it continues to put up 35+ points.

After a disastrous start to the season, the Ravens’ defensive unit desperately needs a good performance. This week’s unit is able to deliver a strong performance, even though they are facing a much weaker opponent. They suffocate Joe Flacco and the Cleveland offense. After failing to have a significant impact on Allen last week, the pass rush sacked Flacco five times. Mike Green scores two sacks after a quiet debut. Dustin Cox
