Ravens vs. Browns inactives: Jaire Alexander healthy scratched

The Baltimore Ravens announced their Week 2 inactives 90 minutes before kickoff.

Alexander had no game designation at the end of last week, so his inactivity for today’s match is not a bad thing. Alexander had a tough time against the Buffalo Bills in the final quarter of last week’s game. John Harbaugh, the Head Coach, said that they had to “get Alexander right” throughout the week. Before Sunday’s match, Alexander did a long pre-game work out, which is unusual for a player who expects to play.

Reuben Lowery, a rookie undrafted by the NFL, will replace Alexander. It will be his first NFL match after being inactive in Week 1 against the Bills.

Keaton Mitchell has been scratched from his second game. Harbaugh said earlier this week that Mitchell has a hard time seeing the field in offense, without having it set up for him. The defense can then key in on him when he’s on the field. He said Mitchell needed to improve in special teams. Rasheen Ali was chosen over Mitchell.
