John Harbaugh, the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, joked about a list of players that have been given permission to go lateral when they get a turnover. Reed and a few others were on the list.

Harbaugh smiled and said, “I told Kyle that when he left the field he had officially been placed on ‘The List’.”

Gilman and Van Noy have chemistry. Gilman and Van Noy also spent a season together with the Los Angeles Chargers. It probably did not influence the play on Sunday, but it certainly didn’t hurt.

Gilman knew that the 34-year old Van Noy was not going to be able to finish the race. Van Noy had an interception returned for a touchdown, but it was only 35 yards.
