Ravens Snap Count Week 12 Analysis: Dre’Mont Jones, Marlin Humphrey have big days

The Ravens were able to defeat the Jets in all four quarters. Lamar Jackson, and the offensive line that started the game, played the entire game. Rookie OL, Emery Jones, did not play his first game despite playing for the very first time.

Deandre Hopkins (54%) played more snaps than Devontez Walker (25%), who was a higher snapper with Rashod Bateman again out. Walker’s 30 yard catch was the longest of the day. Zay Flowers caught five catches totaling 58 yards, a team record.

Derrick Henry received 21 carries, and 2 catches for his 35 snaps (56%) of the game. He only gained 64 rushing yard but scored two touchdowns from short distances. Justice Hill and Keaton Mitchel played 28 snaps together behind him.

Mark Andrews (42 snapped) and Isaiah Likely (36) were far ahead of Charlie Kolar (20 snaps). The two former players each had one reception for a total of 19 yards.

Dre’Mont Jones had a heavy workload, and played his best Ravens game to date. Jones had 1.5 sacks and two quarterback hits on 40 snaps (68%) in addition to a pass breakup. Jones led all edge rushers by playing time. He was slightly ahead of Mike Green and Kyle Van Noy.

Marlon Humphrey played all 59 defensive snaps after returning from injury. The forced fumble he made in the fourth-quarter was one of the key plays of the game. Nate Wiggins was also able to complete the game, but Chidobe awuzie’s snaps dropped from 24. T.J. Tampa finished the game by taking two snaps with an interception.

Kyle Hamilton was forced to leave the field twice due to separate injuries in his shoulder and legs. He made 10 tackles in 50 snaps. Alohi Gillman was the only other defender who played 100% of snaps. Malaki Starks (53%), on the other hand, was present for all but 7 reps.

Roquan (57 snaps), and Teddye Buchanan (45) led again at the inside linebacker position. Travis Jones was slightly less active up front (66% snaps). Taven Bryan had played 20 snaps, a half-sack, and a quarterback hit. He was injured after playing.
