On Tuesday, the Ravens added running back Jonathan Ward and linebacker William Kwenkeu to their practice squad.
Kwenkeu attended high school in St. Charles, Maryland. In 2024, he played two games for the Ravens and made two tackles.
Kwenkeu, 28, spent the training camp and preseason in Baltimore before being released during final roster cuts. The Minnesota Vikings signed him in 2022, as an undrafted Temple free agent. He played six games as a Minnesota rookie.
Kwenkeu can help replace undrafted rookie linebacker Chandler Martin who was placed on the injured reserve list with a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Martin made five special teams tackles over two games.
Ward, who has played 46 games in his career, mostly on special teams, was released by the New England Patriots practice squad on November 25. Ward has made 18 tackles in his career and has racked up 91 yards of running on 22 attempts.
Ward, 28, played four games for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the last season. He has also played with the Arizona Cardinals as well as the Tennessee Titans. Ward joined the Cardinals as a free undrafted agent in 2020 from Central Michigan.
