The Ravens added another international player, defensive tackle David Olajiga, to their practice squad.
Olajiga is a Londoner and occupies the 17 th practice team spot reserved for international players.
He fills the void left by defensive lineman C.J. Okoye is another international (Nigeria), who has made it to the Ravens 53-man roster. He’s been a pleasant development surprise.
Olajiga, who played collegiately for Central Missouri and weighed 310 pounds, spent the last season as part of the International Player Pathway on the Los Angeles Rams practice squad. The New England Patriots signed him this summer. He was on their practice team until Oct. 16, when he was released.
Olajiga and Okoye have both never played a regular-season NFL game before this season.
