In Sunday’s victory, edge rusher Dre’Mont Jones made his debut in purple-and-black. In true passes sets, essentially traditional dropback scenarios, he recorded four pressures, a quarterback hit and an 18.1% pass-rush win rate on just 23 snaps. according to Pro Football Focus. Only Travis Jones had better numbers, and he himself played a stellar game in Minnesota. Dre’Mont was he able to impress the Ravens in his debut?
The Ravens’ rookie class was also a key factor in their victory. Malaki Starks recorded an interception in his second consecutive game. Mike Green was in and around the backfield the entire game. Teddye Buchanan played all over the field. Keondre Jackson, Jay Higgins, and Keyon Martin all contributed to the UDFAs’ success. Keondre Jackson forced fumbles in kickoff returns, which Jackson recovered, and Keyon made a few important tackles after Marlon Hushprey left. Tell us which rookie has had the most impressive season!
