Ravens Place Teddye Buchanan on IR, Elevate Two From Practice Squad

The Ravens put rookie linebacker Teddye Buchanan in injured reserve on Saturday, after he sustained a knee injury that ended his season.

However, they haven’t filled his position on the 53-man list yet.

Baltimore has promoted nose tackle Josh Tupou from the practice squad and linebacker William Kwenkeu to the active roster for the New England Patriots game on Sunday.

Kwenkeu is set to play his first game of the season. He made one tackle in two Ravens games during the last season. In 2022, he played six games with the Minnesota Vikings and made two tackles.

Tupou played in two matches this season, and made three tackles.

Buchanan finished second in the team for tackles in 14 games. As a fourth-round rookie pick, he started 13 games and had a half-sack and five tackles.
