Ravens-Packers: Pundits’ expectations of the game

Only a handful of pundits predict Ravens win in Green Bay

The Ravens only have one way to make the playoffs. The Ravens must beat the Green Bay Packers on Saturday at Lambeau Field and hope that the Pittsburgh Steelers lose Sunday to the Browns. They then need to defeat the Steelers again in Pittsburgh for the final game of the season.

The overwhelming majority (47 out of 53) of pundits that we surveyed don’t believe the Ravens (8-7) will be able check off Step 1

Tyler Huntley, the backup quarterback to Lamar Jackson who is doubtful of playing due to a back contusion, will be expected to save the season a second time in this year. In Week 8, Huntley’s win against the Chicago Bears ended a five game losing streak. This time, it’s literally.

Both Malik Willis and Jordan Love, the Packers’ starters at quarterback (right shoulder/illness/left shoulder) are questionable.

Green Bay (9-5-1), despite having clinched a playoff spot thanks to Detroit Lions’ Christmas loss to Minnesota Vikings, still has something to win. To keep their chances of catching up to the Bears (11-4), they need to win the Ravens. A loss will lock Green Bay into the seventh spot.
