Ravens need a man to step up when darkness falls.

The Ravens’ roster is full of talent, but now their depth will be tested.

Nnamdi, Kyle Van Noy Isaiah Likely and Patrick Ricard are all out of the Detroit Lions game on Monday night. These are important players – the team’s top defensive player, last year’s leading pass rusher and an explosive tightend, as well as a Pro Bowl Fullback.

It remains to be determined if cornerback Jaire Alexander will play against Detroit, or if he’ll be given more time to prepare. Alexander (knee), who missed a full month of training, struggled to play at his best against the Buffalo Bills during Week 1.

Although the injuries are a cause for concern, the Ravens will not be looking for any excuses to enter their first home Monday night game since 2021. The Ravens will be looking for players who can step into the electrifying atmosphere at M&T Bank Stadium.
