Former Ravens are likely to be prominent in the discussion about who will make up the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2026.
As announced on Wednesday, Haloti Ngata, Marshal Yanda and Terrell Suggs are among the 52 candidates of the modern era who have advanced to the second round of voting.
This group includes players that were not drafted to Baltimore, but still wore purple: Anquan Bodin, Steve Smith Sr. Willie Anderson and Earl Thomas.
Suggs, and Yanda were both among the 15 finalist in the class last year but failed to be enshrined on their first ballot.
Suggs has been a seven-time Pro Bowler and the 2011 Defensive player of the year. He is also a two time Super Bowl winner. Suggs’ 17-year-career ended with 139 career sacks. This ranks him eighth in all-time, and three more than Jared Allen who was enshrined last year as a Hall of Famer.
Yanda was an eight-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl Champion. She is also a member of the 2010s NFL All-Decade Team.
