This list excludes defensive tackles Nnamdi (Madubuike) (neck) (Broderick Washington Jr., ankle), who were placed on injury reserve last week.
Madubuike Smith and Hamilton, the three Pro Bowlers who anchor the Ravens’ defense, were all Pro Bowlers when they entered this year. They may not be in the M&T Bank Stadium game on Sunday.
Humphrey, Awuzie and others who haven’t played in a week are also doubtful. This could mean Jaire Alexandre is in the starting lineup for the very first time since Week 1, and that T.J. Tampa, a second-year cornerback and undrafted rookie KeyonMartin will get more snaps.
Nate Wiggins, who has been dealing with an elbow injury, returned to the field of play on Thursday and Friday. This is a positive sign that he will be able to wear a suit.
Hamilton has not practiced since Wednesday. Sanoussi Kane, a second-year safety, will be asked to fill his shoes.
Kyle Van Noy could be back in the game after missing two weeks because of a hamstring problem. It’s good to hear that, but Oweh is now dealing with an eye issue. He also had double-digits sacks in the past year.
Ronnie Stanley, the left tackle (knee), is practicing for the second day in a row on Friday. This could be a sign that he will try to return to action. Stanley was the starter, but he left early in Sunday’s Kansas City game, giving Joe Noteboom his place.
All of the Texans starters should be fully fit, as they have all practiced together this week.
