Ravens injury report – Nnamdi Mdubuike is out for the second consecutive practice

Nnamdi Madubuike, Ravens defensive lineman, missed his second consecutive practice due to neck pain. This casts serious doubts on his ability to play in Monday’s game against the Lions.

This would be a major loss for the Baltimore defense, which has relied heavily on his interior disruption this season. Madubuike had a few pressures and a couple of sacks in every game. He would have been a good matchup against the Lions young guard duo Christian Mahogany & Tate Ratledge.

In the past, the Ravens were willing to play with only four defensive linemen. However, they should elevate Brent Urban from their practice squad. In a shootout game, it is important to have fresh legs on the trenches in order to win in the fourth quarter.

The Ravens have posted their full Friday practice report.

Ali has been upgraded to full participation. Keaton Mitchell will be on the bench for a third consecutive week. Wiggins has returned to the practice field and will have an opportunity to play Monday night.

Likely stated after practicethat “he’s taking it day by day at the moment,” but noted that Ravens offense thrived without him. This has allowed him to be more patient with his rehabilitation and not rush to get back on the field. The fourth-year tight ended indicated that he would like to be fully healthy before he suits up for a match.

He concluded, “You want to see my true self.”

Dave Birkett, of the Detroit Free Press reported that Lions defensive-lineman Marcus Davenport was not in attendance for the second time in a row. His arm was in a sling and he did not practice. Both left tackle Taylor Decker and linebacker Jack Campbell practiced following absences on Friday. Decker is a full participant, while Campbell has a limited participation. Decker should be able to play on Monday.
