Lamar Jackson was removed from the Baltimore Ravens’ Week 18 injury list after he completed his first week of full practice since Week 10.
Jackson was sidelined last week due to a contusion of the back in Week 16. Last week, the team stressed the severity of Jackson’s injury and raised concerns about his status for Week 17. The Castle was optimistic about Jackson’s status for the trip to Pittsburgh on Sunday after his full participation in Wednesday.
Jackson is now healthier than he’s ever been this season.
Todd Monken, offensive coordinator, said that it was the closest they’ve come in a while to having [Jackson] be fully active all week. Tyler Huntley has gotten more reps in the first team offense because of Jackson’s absence, Monken said.
He added, “If this doesn’t tell you how important practice is and that reps are crucial as well as your timing and team confidence in you,” I don’t what else will. You like to have your quarterback on the field every day.
Here are the Ravens final injury designations from Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh.
