Ravens ‘Hopeful’ Lamar Jackson Returns for Dolphins Game

Lamar Jackson is getting closer to his return.

Jackson, who has missed the Ravens’ past three games after the win over Chicago Bears on the Sunday, could return to the game Thursday in Miami.

This matchup comes just four days following Sunday’s 30-16 win over Chicago in which Tyler Huntley had one of the best games of his career. Jackson and the Dolphins’ medical staff will determine if Jackson’s hamstring is healed enough to play.

“I’m hopeful. Harbaugh stated, “I’m going to just say that I am hopeful.”

As a coach you’ll ask, “How’s he doing?” You don’t do much more than that. How are we doing? What do you think about it? ‘… Coaches are not involved in the status of players and whether they play or no. It’s not the coach’s decision.”

Harbaugh stated that Jackson’s absence against the Bears was due to the Ravens playing two games within five days.

Jackson participated in three Ravens practices during the past week as a limited participant. Jackson’s Friday practice was downgraded from full to a limited designation on Saturday.

Harbaugh stated that the Ravens would not rule Jackson out unless they were forced to. He said that the fact that Jackson had been listed as a “full participant” on Friday was a mistake. A player must be given the same amount of reps as he would normally receive when he is healthy to be considered a “full participant”. Jackson was a full participant in the Friday practice but, according to reports, he played as the quarterback of scouts.

Harbaugh stated that “nobody is hiding anything.” “There is no benefit to that.” He was a practitioner. He was a man of his status. He was a questionable. “I do believe if we still had the old status he would have been doubtful.”

Huntley is likely to start his second game in a row if Jackson cannot return on Thursday. Huntley completed 17 out of 22 passes, resulting in 186 yards with one touchdown. He also gained 53 rushing yard on seven carries.
