Sports Business Journal Publisher and Executive Editor Abraham Madkour recently visited the Ravens facility at Owings mills and was very impressed by The Castle. He called it “the best kept secret” in sports.
Madkour wrote: “It is a magnificent headquarters and training facility that was built in 2004, but has undergone numerous renovations throughout the years.” It’s one the most impressive team facilities I have ever seen. Madkour said that the prominently displayed Portrait of Art Modell, who died in 2004, was “another elegant touch to an incredibly stylish facility.”
