The Ravens selected undrafted rookie Keondre Jackson as a safety for the Miami Dolphins’ game on Thursday.
In Week 8, both Bryan and Jackson received promotions for Baltimore’s 30-16 victory over the Chicago Bears. Bryan made his Ravens debut against Chicago and played 22 defensive snaps without recording a tackle. Jackson, on the other hand, was outstanding in special teams with 20 snaps.
Bryan, a former first-round selection in 2018, is now in his eighth year and has signed on to Baltimore’s practice team as of September 24. Bryan’s addition to the Ravens’ defensive line rotation will help them contain Miami’s running game, which is led by De’Von Achane. Achane leads the Dolphins in rushing with 539 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 5.9 yards per carry.
Jackson is now the third player to be elevated this season. He will have to be added to Baltimore’s 53-man team after the game on Thursday.
