Ravens Defense: ‘No Excuses!’ after Lions’ attack

The Ravens’ defense, on the other hand, is looking in the mirror again after a poor performance.

John Harbaugh’s head coach, Kyle Hamilton and Marlin Humphrey, cornerback, were all honest about the defense following a 38-30 defeat on “Monday Night Football”, at M&T Bank Stadium.

The Lions rushed for 224 yards, the third most any team had ever gotten against the Ravens in the Harbaugh years (since 2008).

Detroit running back David Montgomery broke the Baltimore defense with a 72 yard run. He ran a career high 151 yards and scored two touchdowns. Jahmyr gibbs, another running back, also scored two touchdowns.

Josh Allen shredded Baltimore’s defense in the fourth-quarter of Week 1. Detroit’s ground-game was the key this time. According to Next Gen Stats , the Ravens missed 20 tackles.

Harbaugh stated that “nobody in that locker-room thought that was good enough.” “That’s disappointing. This is not our style. This cannot be our identity. “It’s not acceptable and we have to do better.”

The Lions executed their offensive game plan pretty well. The Lions ran the ball well, kept Jared Goff in good shape, and converted third (and even fourth) down. Detroit executed well in every situation and played clean football.

Humphrey: “I felt like they did whatever they wanted all night.” “They simply performed better than we did and we never got off schedule. “We’re not very good.”
