

The Ravens claimed Carl Jones Jr., a former Chicago Bears’ linebacker.
Jones played in nine Bears games this season. He racked up 11 tackles and 148 snaps for special teams. Chicago released him before its Sunday game against the Packers.
Jones can help the Ravens special teams unit. They lost rookie undrafted linebacker Jay Higgins to a sprained knee in Week 10, and undrafted linebacker Chandler Martin due to a sprained knee on Thanksgiving.
Jones was signed by the Bears last year as an undrafted rookie. He played in just one game. He spent almost the entire season with their practice squad.
At his Pro Day, the UCLA product ran an incredibly fast 40-yard sprint in just 4.52 seconds.
