Ravens-Chiefs Inactives: Baltimore Makes Final Decisions on Several Key Players

The Ravens announced their inactives ahead of their Week 4 game against the Chiefs. Two players were added to their offensive line and two others on defense.

Ronnie Stanley, the left tackle, will be able to play through his ankle injury. Tight end Isaiah Likely will make his debut in 2025 after undergoing early surgery for a broken leg. This will benefit a Ravens offensive unit that has had trouble in the past against Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.

Baltimore’s defensive front will be significantly weakened. After losing Nnamdi Washington and Broderick Madubuike to the injured reserve, the defensive line already had a shorthanded situation. Travis Jones will be out of the lineup, which puts a heavy burden on defensive line depth, and inside linebacker performance. Kyle Van Noy was back in practice this week but could not get up to speed quickly enough to be able to play against Kansas City.

After a disappointing performance by cornerback Jaire Alexander in Week 1, the Ravens have continued to be cautious with him. For the third consecutive week, he will be an undrafted rookie safety. Reuben Lowery, a rookie safety who was not drafted, will join him. The team has no open roster spot for Week 4 after he made his NFL debut in Week 3.

Carson Vinson, who is not playing this week due to injury, will also be scratched for the fourth consecutive week. Keaton Mitchel is also a healthy scratch, despite the Ravens’ struggling run game without Patrick Ricard. Todd Monken may need to add Mitchell as a change of pace back if Derrick Henry’s run game is shut down for the third consecutive game.

Cornerback Kristian Fulton, and defensive end Mike Danna were both declared inactives by the Chiefs.

Kansas City’s five other inactive players are all healthy scratched who have not yet appeared in a match this season.
