Ravens call up defensive lineman from practice squad

The Ravens have promoted veteran defensive lineman Brent Urban, and tight end Zaire Mitchel-Paden to “Monday Night Football”, where they will face the Detroit Lions.

Urban made 20 tackles in 13 games last year for the Ravens. With Nnamdi madubuike’s neck injury, Urban will provide more experience and depth on the defensive front.

Aeneas Aeneas is a rookie defensive tackle who will be playing a bigger role now that Madubuike has also been ruled out. With Jahmyr and David Montgomery as their backfield, the Lions boast one of the best in the league. The Ravens must put pressure on Jahmyr Goff.

John Harbaugh, the Head Coach of the team, said: “I know that he will play hard and get after it.” I have a feeling that he will make some plays.

Mitchell-Paden is being promoted from the practice team for a third time, as both fullback Patrick Ricard and tight end Isaiah Likely are still injured. Mitchell-Paden played well in a hybrid blocking role, and had the chance to score a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns last week.
