Sports Illustrated’s Conor Orr has compiled a top 43 list of head coaching candidates for the year 2026. Offensive coordinator Todd Monken is among them.
Orr wrote: “Monken has a strong background in college and professional football, which gives him an advantage when it comes time to import college talent.” Monken has been an NFL play-caller for seven years, during which time his teams achieved top-10 finishes four times in major offensive categories. Since Monken assumed the position [in 2023], the Ravens had the NFL’s 5th best offense, in terms of EPA/play.
Orr has also named Travis Switzer, the offensive run-game coordinator at the time of his appointment as coordinator.
Orr wrote: “Switzer was the Ravens run-game coordinator the last three seasons.” He interviewed for the Seahawks offensive coordinator’s position in the off-season last year before the Seahawks hired Klint Kubica. Switzer, a long-time Ravens offensive assistant, was a favorite among current Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald.
