Ravens activate two key defenders on 53-man roster

The Ravens have activated Tavius Washington and Ar’Darius Robinson to their 53-man roster.

Washington will make his debut in the season after sustaining an Achilles injury back in May. Robinson missed seven games because of a foot injury.

Robinson and Washington were both welcome back to the Ravens, as they only had 51 players in their roster.

Robinson had two sacks for the Ravens before he went down. His return, along with Dre’Mont and Jones, will give the defense more bite.

The Ravens must slow down Bengals’ running back Chase Brown, and put pressure on Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. Burrow threw 261 yards with two touchdowns during their last meeting.

Robinson stated, “I hope to return out there and bring some juice and energy.” “[I want] to give energy to get out there, do it and impact the quarterback.”

Washington is versatile and could be used at cornerback, or other positions in the Ravens’ secondary. Washington was one of Ravens’ top defensive players in the final stretch of last season, finishing with 64 tackles and two interceptions.

Washington stated, “I’ll be ready to play whenever they send me on the field.” “I didn’t return to the field just to sit there.”
