Ravens activate Jay Higgins to 53-man Roster

The 53-man roster has been updated to include rookie linebacker Jay Higgins IV, allowing him to play against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night.

Higgins’ last game was on November 9 against the Minnesota Vikings. He suffered a serious knee injury. He has been practicing for the last two weeks.

Higgins, who has played all of his snaps on special teams so far, has six tackles in nine games and one forced fumble.

Higgins may be called upon to play defensively in Lambeau Field, as the Ravens have a few fewer inside linebackers now that Teddye Buchanan has suffered a season-ending injury.

Baltimore did not make any changes to its practice squad prior to the Packers’ game.
