Pundit predicts Ravens win out and claim AFC North Crown

Pundit predicts Ravens win out, cruise to AFC North Crown

The Ravens won three games in a row, but still have little margin for error going into the final eight weeks.

Baltimore (5-4) needs to continue to win to stay in the race for first place with the Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4). NFL.com’s Ali Bhanpuri thinks the Ravens can do this. Bhanpuri predicted the outcome of every game remaining in the NFL this season. He doesn’t believe the Ravens are going to lose another game.

Bhanpuri wrote: “Baltimore is on a heat and has swept the Steelers in the season series to win the AFC North title.”

Bhanpuri predicted that the Ravens would be the No. Bhanpuri projected the Ravens to be No. He led the Steelers to a 8-9 finish after they went 3-5 in second half of season.

Bhanpuri wrote: “The Steelers have lost four games to the Ravens (including the playoffs) as Pittsburgh has its first losing year under Mike Tomlin. It also loses its grip on the AFC North, and is unable to participate in the postseason tournament.”

Bhanpuri’s prescience could make the Ravens’ 11-game streak the second longest in Ravens regular-season history. The Ravens of 2019 won 12 consecutive games.

ESPN’s Football Power Index projects that the Ravens will also win the division. The NFL’s Football Power Index, a measure that measures a team’s strength and is intended to predict a team’s performance for the remainder of the season gives Baltimore a 60% chance of winning the division and a 62% probability of making the playoffs. Pittsburgh has a 41% chance of making the playoffs.

ESPN’s Rich Eisen said that the Ravens were not going to win this division, but acknowledged there was still plenty of football left to play.
