Pundit: AFC North is a three-team race, division champion could have a losing record

The Bengals (4-8), meanwhile, are in a race with the Ravens. They have hope after their win over the Ravens, and with quarterback Joe Burrow returning.

Cincinnati, which is 3-1 (Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Baltimore are both 2-1), will host the Ravens and Cleveland Browns respectively in Weeks 15 and 18. The record in divisional games (after the head-to-head result) is used to break ties.

ESPN’s Dan Graziano stated that, with the Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals all sitting at.500 or less, the Bengals could be in a position to win. It’s also not impossible that the AFC North champion may have a losing record.

We all know that Mike Tomlin has never had a Steelers team finish a season without a winning record. This is a difficult call. Graziano wrote, “But my goodness, they sucked Sunday.” “The Steelers are playing very poorly.” The Ravens are also playing poorly. Baltimore may have won five straight games before Thursday, but Lamar Jackson is yet to throw a touchdown in the last three games and their offense seems out of sync.

Don’t tell me that the 8-9 Bengals can’t win this division, just because they are 4-8.

A team that has fewer than ten wins in the AFC North is unlikely to win.
