News & Notes No. Nate Wiggins, No. 1 Cornerback, is asked to shadow Davante Adams

On Sunday, cornerback Nate Wiggins was up for the challenge of shadowing an upcoming Hall of Famer.

Wiggins, Ravens Sr. The Ravens’ coaching team, including Defensive Assistant/Secondary coach Chuck Pagano, will be following wide receiver Davante Adam.

Pagano was impressed by the confidence of the former first-round selection.

Pagano stated, “What we observed was an unbelievable sense of urgency and detail. He wanted this challenge, but accepted it because he is a proud guy.” “He is very particular about what he records.”

Pro Football Focus (PFF) reports that Wiggins only allowed Adams to catch one pass for eight yards from four targets. Adams’s four catches totaled 39 yards. This was his lowest game production this season.

Pagano believed Wiggins was trying to get some plays returned, but that Wiggins “held his ground” in the overall battle against Adams. Wiggins was penalized for 30 yards of pass interference while guarding Adams.

Wiggins is the 10th best cornerback in the NFL who has played at least 80% defensive snaps for his team. He is ahead of other top cornerbacks, such as Jets’ Sauce Gardener and Broncos Pat Surtain III, who won the Defensive Players of the Year award last season.

“Everyone is looking for a man like Nate. A true No. “Everyone wants a guy like Nate, a true No. He has the ability, athleticism and skillset to do it,” Pagano said. Pagano: “He’s got all the capabilities, athleticism and skills to do it.”
