Justice Hill was placed on injured reserve by the Ravens last week, before the Bengals were moved, but Harbaugh clarified that it wasn’t a neck injury that would end the season.
Harbaugh stated that Hill was having disc issues which were causing him problems. He is expected to be out for three to four weeks.
Harbaugh stated that “justice has a chance to return.”
Rasheen Ali, who replaced Hill as the Bengals’ running back, played the most snaps (29) of all the team’s runners. This was partially because the Ravens were so focused on their two-minute offensive as they attempted to claw their back from behind.
Harbaugh complimented Ali for the work he did on Thursday night. He also wished Derrick Henry and Keaton Mitchel had more action.
Harbaugh stated, “He played very well.” He ran well, passed well and chipped well. “He had one run that I thought was hesitant.”
Chandler Martin, a rookie linebacker, will not be returning this season. He will have surgery to repair an ACL tear he suffered during the first kickoff on Thursday night. He made five special teams tackles over two games.
“He began to establish himself.” Harbaugh commented, “It was cool to see a young player do that.”
