News & Notes – Mark Andrews is closing in on a Major Ravens Record

Mark Andrews leads the Ravens in career touchdowns. He’s now on the verge of breaking another franchise record.

Andrews is only 18 yards away from becoming Ravens’ leading receiver in receiving yards. Derrick Mason accumulated 5,777 yards between 2005 and 2010 in purple-and-black. Andrews has 5,760 yards.

Andrews will have a great chance to make history when the Ravens play the Vikings in Minnesota on Sunday. Andrews says he hasn’t spoken to the Ravens’ tight ends about Andrews closing in. Andrews is locked in.

Andrews stated that “nothing has been said, and nothing is needed to be said.” “Obviously, this a very significant game for this organisation, for us. And we need to win the game – this is what is most important. It’s just the cherry on top.”

Andrews, who joined the league in 2018, has been a model for consistency and one of Jackson’s most trusted targets.

Andrews had his best season in 2021 when he recorded 107 receptions for 1,361 yard and nine touchdowns. In the last couple of years, Isaiah Likely (also a tight end) and Charlie Kolar (also a tight end) have been more prominent in Baltimore’s offensive scheme. Andrews is still productive when he has the chance. Andrews’ 11 touchdowns in 2011 led all NFL tight ends.

Andrews’ last season was brutal, but this season he has been the same reliable and consistent player as always.

Andrews stated, “I’ve always had a hunger for winning. I don’t care if it’s a practice or a game. I fight, I claw, and I try to improve.” “I want the win. It’s about winning. “I’ve been starving since I arrived here and this hunger will never go away.”

Andrews had a slow start to the season, with only seven yards in his first two games. However, he scored a pair of touchdowns against Miami last week.

Andrews, who is now 30 and in his eighth season with the Ravens, will be forever remembered as one of their greatest pass catchers. Andrews says he’s not close to the end.

Andrews stated, “I always claim to feel better now than ever before, but I can honestly say that the way I care for my body and the foods I eat have made me feel great.” “I am running faster than ever before.” “I feel better and am moving faster.”
