News & Notes: Lamar Jackson Threw Out Ravens’ Locker Room Games

Lamar Jackson doesn’t play around when it comes down to keeping the Ravens on track.

After the Ravens’ Week 4 loss to the Chiefs, the two-time MVP confirmed he had asked Head Equipment Manager Kenico Hines, to remove the pinball machine and other entertainment items from the locker room.

Jackson: “I told him to remove all the games and TVs, including ping-pong. If we had been able to remove the TVs, then they would have also been removed. “I appreciate [Ravens owner] Mr. Steve [Bisciotti] putting this in for us, however we had to concentrate.

Don’t misunderstand me, I wouldn’t say that people do not take their jobs seriously. I just didn’t feel it was time. “We’ve got lots to do.”

Jackson was asked about the return of games after the Ravens ended their four-game losing streak on Sunday.

Jackson said, “Keep winning.” Keep winning, because we won’t have them for the rest of this year. Maybe next year we’ll have OTAs. “But right now, it’s not our focus.”

Jackson was disappointed to be sidelined and watch the Ravens drop from 1-5 to 1-5 in three games before the victory over the Chicago Bears. Jackson, however, said that he did not feel the season was lost.

Jackson wants to focus everyone on the Ravens’ goal of reaching the playoffs. Jackson believes the Ravens’ mentality is right where it should be, and he is eager to take on the Miami Dolphins in “Thursday Night Football.”

Jackson stated, “I have a fantastic group of guys in my team.” “I think we have a good chance of making something happen,” Jackson said. I still do.”
