Ravens want offense to start faster after history of shootouts with Bengals

It is important that the Ravens start their offense quickly, especially against Cincinnati.

Baltimore won two high scoring games against the Bengals in last season’s campaign – a 41-40 overtime win in Cincinnati, and a 3534 win in Baltimore. The Ravens are looking to start their offense early against the Bengals after scoring only three points against the New York Jets in the first quarter on Sunday.

Zay Flowers, a wide receiver, said: “We know we have to get started quickly. That’s what we discussed today.

Bengals have the worst record in the NFL for allowing points and yards (32.7 per match) so it would not surprise us to see another high scoring game between the Ravens and Bengals. Burrow’s big-play wide receiver, Ja’Marr chase, will be available with Ja’Marr returning from suspension. Tee Higgins, however, has been ruled to be out due to a concussion.

Flowers remembers the frenetic pace of last year’s games against Cincinnati.

Flowers said, “It is crazy that we would score so quickly.” You’d think, “[Dang], just when we left the field,” we’d come back, and then they would be on. You are always ready and warm. It’s always fun in those games.

If it must be this, we will do that. But I hope that it won’t be like those games. “I hope it’s a nice game, where we can enjoy Thanksgiving and then go home.”
